Is Lucent a brokerage?
Lucent is a property management company. The marketplace at /properties is a curated surface for state-licensed brokerages — Lucent does not list its own inventory for sale.
Where do you operate?
Lucent enters markets deliberately. New regions are added only when we can hold the standard there — and we announce them when they are real, not when they are aspirational.
Why both stays and long-term rentals?
Because owners change their minds, lives change, and a property has more than one phase. Running both under one roof means an owner can move between models without changing operators or losing context.
How do you decide which properties to take on?
Every property is visited before it is signed. We turn down homes we cannot present at a Lucent standard, and we tell owners when a different operator would serve them better.
Who owns Lucent?
Lucent is independent and operator-led. No private-equity rollup, no franchise model, no outside investors steering the standard.
